Summer Adventures!

This summer Jeff and I have been planning a day for my Aunt, my Uncle, and my Uncle friends from England, to come and see the red rocks of southern Utah. They came at the beginning of September and it was a blast. We took them to Zion National Park, drove through the canyon and the tunnel, and hiked up observation point to get a great overlook of the whole canyon. We had a yummy lunch and then went on a sweet Rhino tour through the sand dunes. Our neighbors were kind enough to come and guide us and it was a riot. My Uncle and his friend we so funny. They were making us all cry from laughter. They put on these goggles and looked hilarious. We went to the Fred Flinstone houses in the Sand Dunes, got stuck a couple times, and saw an awesome view that over looked Sandhollow. It was a great ride. We had a lot of fun. Cheese! This is one of our favorite faces that Jayden does

Curious, Curious

One day I was sitting here at my computer, and looked over to see Jayden trying to get into this whole in a desk we used to have. I just kept watching him and he got inside and got stuck. It was the cutest thing. I love this little guy. He also loves our little keyboard piano that I have. There is a nob on it that goes in a circle and he would sit there all day twisting it back and forth. He's a funny kid and loves anything that's round and moves. This looks fun...
But, how do I get my feet in?

I love Boating!

So our brother in-law, Darren, took his dads boat out and invited all us Madsens to go, and wow was I excited. These last two summers I have definitely been dreprived of boating. Last summer I was pregnant, and this summer I have gone a couple times but not nearly as much as I would like to. So when Darren invited us to go I was very excited. Maybe not going a lot is good though because this boating trip I jumped higher than I ever have before and even landed a couple of the jumps! I was exstatic about this. You can see some of the air that I got in these pictures, and I'm for sure proud of myself! I love everything about boating. The music, wakeboaring, tubing, or just chillin in the boat. It is honestly one of my very most favorite things to do. A whole new me comes to life when I'm on boat. Now only if I could convince my husband to buy one... Yep thats me

Labor Day at the cabin

Over Labor Day weekend we went to Jeff's families cabin up in Heber City. It was beautiful. The weather was perfect, and it was a nice little break for us. While we were there Midway had it's Swiss Days going on. My mom and her friend drove to Heber and spent Saturday with us, eating yummy swiss food and look at all the booths. It was a lot of fun. We also had a couple rhino's at the cabin that we took and had a fun time with. We strapped Jayden into the back seat of one and he loved it. We played lots of games including the infamous game of woofle ball. Everything was great, we love the cabin! Grandma and Jayden

Our favorite hammock!

While we were in California Jayden discovered that he really really loves balls. He learned how to spin the ball and it was the cutest thing. He would concentrate so hard so he would get it right. Jeff played lots and lots with him passing it back and forth. Jeff would get the ball, do a trick, and then pass it back to Jayden. Then Jayden would get the ball, spin it and pass it back to Jeff. It was awesome! He is so much fun!
