Labor Day at the cabin

Over Labor Day weekend we went to Jeff's families cabin up in Heber City. It was beautiful. The weather was perfect, and it was a nice little break for us. While we were there Midway had it's Swiss Days going on. My mom and her friend drove to Heber and spent Saturday with us, eating yummy swiss food and look at all the booths. It was a lot of fun. We also had a couple rhino's at the cabin that we took and had a fun time with. We strapped Jayden into the back seat of one and he loved it. We played lots of games including the infamous game of woofle ball. Everything was great, we love the cabin! Grandma and Jayden

While we were in California Jayden discovered that he really really loves balls. He learned how to spin the ball and it was the cutest thing. He would concentrate so hard so he would get it right. Jeff played lots and lots with him passing it back and forth. Jeff would get the ball, do a trick, and then pass it back to Jayden. Then Jayden would get the ball, spin it and pass it back to Jeff. It was awesome! He is so much fun!

We went to Newport Beach with Jeff's family in July for a week and had an absolute blast.

We had sandcastle building contest that we all really got into, scavenger hunts,

lots of pictures on the beach, boogie boarding, a great yacht ride at sunset,

saws lots of dolphins, ate great food, and had great company. Jayden

loved the beach. He would stuff sand in his mouth every chance he

could. Jeff and I had a lot of fun boogie boarding and swimming

in the cold ocean. We ate frozen banana's and walked the boulevard.

Jayden found a new love for balls on this trip. He learned how to

spin a ball on the ground and how to roll it back to dad. It was

so fun to see him because he would get so excited at the sight of a ball,

and now we have balls all over our house! He is such a funny kid.

Beach Time!

We went to SandHallow resort a couple weekends ago with some of my family and had a blast. It was a very hot day but we had a great time playing in the water, and in the sand. Jayden loved the sand. He got in everywhere, his eyes, in his mouth, and every other body part. It was so fun to see him play in it. He loved the water as usual. We took him on a jet-ski ride and that put him right to sleep. He even got to go on a tube ride, but I(Natalie) got to nervous so it lasted maybe 20 seconds. He's just to little still. It was a fun day. We played and played till the sun went down. We had jet-ski's which were awesome, and a couple four wheelers which we rode at the sand doons. It was a lot of fun!

One day this summer Jayden and I went swimming. We went with a few of my friends from my ward that have little babies too. Jayden has a hay day with these boys. They are both about 8 months older than him, but it's still fun to see them interact. Jayden absolutely loves to swim. We have been quite a few times this summer and he loves the water.

Uncle Eric and Aunt Lu Lu came and stayed with us a couple weekends ago. We had a lot of fun at the pool. Jayden loves his aunts and uncles!
